Custom quilting....or not!

All along I planned on custom...really custom quilting this quilt and last minute decided not to today.

It was so tempting...all that open space and so many quilting ideas running through my head as to what I could do.

So what persuaded me to just do GREAT BIG SWIRLS?  Time.  Right now I can't afford to spend a lot of time custom quilting one of my own quilts, but I'm liking how it's turning out anyway!

The first thing I did is stitched in the ditch to make my big circle.  I then found my center and started my swirl in the center and went outward....now this part I go pretty fast and that helps my swirls look smoother.  I don't have a stitch regulated machine...so I turn my speed up to make it go faster.  My max speed on my machine is 100...I turn it up to 90.  Yes, fast!  Not sure about the stitch regulated machines and how you go fast on those?

That's about it for this one, just one big swirl after another!
