[message]May was a busy month for SKW! We had a ton of fun attending the fashion show at H&H, teaching Northern Lights at Thimbles Quilt Shop in Lockport,Illinois and working with some of you at our Sew & Sip. We also finalized the newest pattern in our Holiday Series, Posh Summer, which will be released June 15th! And that’s not all- we’ve been working away to make sure we have a brand new SKW pattern release for you every month this year. Stay tuned to get exclusive first access to all we have in store!
As an added note- we’ve also updated the dashboard to reflect a much requested change! No more searching the Community page looking for past Zoom sessions! All exclusive live recordings now live under the “Videos” tab under “Live Recordings.” You can access them here.

This fancy little vase utilizes two rulers- the Wonder Curve Ruler for the flowers and the Quick Curve Ruler for the vase. Feeling Fancy is the ideal block to focus on color play for fabric choices. Three hues are needed for the flower, two for the leaves and two for the vase to give depth to the block.
This month’s exclusive tutorial dives into Facing Binding, which creates a seamless look and avoids the “framing” effect of traditional binding. We love seasonal quilts and wanted to explore a whole year’s worth of seasonal quilts using the QCR Mini Ruler. We wanted to use the same basic block as the foundation for each of these quilts and added other elements to make each quilt uniquely beautiful.
This 6" x 10" piecing ruler has colored lines and markings which makes it wonderfully simple to use while making a combination of curved blocks which are used repeatedly in WCR Patterns!
